MMOexp CFB26: Running Game Revolution
#1
Where last year’s version sometimes felt stiff or  College Football 26 Coins repetitive, the new engine allows for more dynamic player behavior. The physics-based tackling system—borrowed and refined from Madden 25—is now fully implemented, delivering a better sense of impact and realism. Whether you’re a dominant linebacker or a shifty running back, player size, momentum, and technique actually matter.

Defense Finally Clicks

Defense in football games has often been neglected or frustrating to play, but College Football 26 makes it approachable and even enjoyable. Thanks to better mechanics and smarter design, defending feels more intuitive than ever. Linemen can shed blocks using left-stick control, allowing you to be an active presence even after initial contact. The inclusion of play-specific line stunts also opens the door to greater strategic variety.

Tackling itself has seen vast improvements. Hit sticks are no longer random, and you can now trip or wrap up ball carriers depending on your defender’s size and positioning. Small defenders will struggle to bring down power backs, but they can still be effective with smart technique and positioning. These changes make defense less chaotic and more rewarding.

Running Game Revolution

If there was one consistent complaint with College Football 25, it was the broken run-blocking AI. Guards ignored key assignments, and big runs were rare. That’s been overhauled. The new blocking engine ensures linemen follow their assignments more reliably. Running backs can now burst through gaps and shed tackles in a more authentic fashion, making inside runs much more viable.
